Andreas Boos

Andreas Boos has been working in the GIS industry since 15 years. In 1994 he started working as a surveyor in a small engineering company before he joined c-plan in the year 2000 as a Software Developer. He helped developing the first releases of Topobase version 1 and 2 before c-plan has been acquired by Autodesk. Later he was responsible for the implementation of main parts of the next Topobase generation, version 3, 2007 and later. Since 2004 he is leading a team of 10 Topobase developers and is working closely together with Topobase Product Design, Product Management and the test team. Andreas has a bachelor degree in computer science and he is the proud father of two children.


Derrick Oswald has been programming with Autodesk products for over 25 years, including over 10 years as an Autodesk third party developer, and over a dozen in the geospatial industry. Derrick recently moved from Canada to Switzerland to join the Topobase team. Previously with Autodesk Consulting, he was involved in Topobase, Map and MapGuide development for large and small customers. Derrick is a professional engineer, graduating in Electrical Engineering before personal computers were invented. His free-time hobbies include ice hockey and metalworking.


Jeff Saunders is a certified GIS Professional and a licensed professional engineer. He has spent the last 15 years involved in engineering design and management for utilities, infrastructure, and land management as both an engineer and as a GIS professional. He has worked and developed with almost all major CAD design and geospatial applications, but started his career with AutoCAD R9. He has worked extensively with spatial databases for the past 8 years and now finds himself in the very unique position as a product manager for Topobase - combining the best of CAD, GIS and spatial databases to better design and manage infrastructure. His spare time is spent with his wife and son, swimming in the San Francisco Bay, and playing tennis.


Vanessa Rojas is a Systems Engineer with a Master degree in Geoinformatics. She is been working with Information Systems since 10 years, mainly designing and developing Oracle applications for several companies in the telecommunications, industry and administrative fields. Since she joined Autodesk, 4 years ago, she has been working with worldwide technical training of Autodesk Topobase for partners and customers. She enjoys travelling, taking photographs and writing poems.
